Alicia, a highly-strung and ambitious ballet student, is preparing for the auditions for her school’s production of 'Giselle'. After spending her whole school career as second best to star pupil Sophie, Alicia is ready for a lead role. When Alicia’s on/off boyfriend applies the brakes to their relationship the night before the crucial auditions, Alicia questions what she must sacrifice to earn the role she believes she deserves.

‘Turning Pointe’ is a coming of age tale which focuses on aspiration, first love and female friendship.
